General experience

Stacy is a qualified UK Architect who has practised in the construction and engineering industry for over 8 years. She has had a wide range of experience on all building types, and whilst working in the UK has specialised in stadiums, healthcare, and education buildings. Her most recent projects include the new 30,000-seat Cardiff City Football Stadium, Leeds Oncology Teaching Hospital, the Newham Treatment Centre, and the Manchester Hospitals Education Centre.  During her career Stacy has encountered numerous types of contracts and procurement routes including PFI/PPP, Procure 21, NEC, and JCT. 

Career

Stacy graduated from the University of Michigan, USA, in 1998 with a degree in Architecture and in 1999 with a degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering, concentrating in Structural Engineering. She then joined the American architecture practice Anshen+Allen in San Francisco, transferring to their London office, Anshen/Dyer, in 2002 as an Associate.  Prior to joining Fenwick Elliott in August 2007, Stacy worked for ArupSport, specialising in stadiums and sporting venues.

Now at Fenwick Elliott, Stacy intends to train as a solicitor whilst making full use of her practical background as an architect and engineer.  

Other activities

Stacy is a visiting lecturer and oral examiner at the University of Westminster for the Postgraduate Certificate in the Professional Practice of Architecture (RIBA Part III).  She is also currently completing the MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution at King’s College London and the Graduate Diploma in Law at the College of Law.

Stacy is a member of the Society of Construction Law, Adjudication Society, and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
