Contract experience

Stefan’s experience includes: JCT, FIDIC and ICE standard-form contracts; CECA, DOM/1 and DOM/2 sub-contracts; and consultancy agreements and collateral warranties.

General experience

Stefan concentrates mainly on contentious matters and has assisted in acting for contractors, sub-contractors and employers, as well as for private clients, in litigation, international and domestic arbitration and adjudication. Stefan is also familiar with the many forms of alternative dispute resolution including mediation.

Career

After 10 years working in publishing and journalism, including three years with Time Warner in Hong Kong, Stefan embarked on a legal career. He was called to the Bar by Lincoln’s Inn in 2002. In the same year he took an LLM in Commercial Law at London University which included specializations in International Construction Law & Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution. He joined Fenwick Elliott in April 2003 and qualified as a solicitor in July 2005.

Stefan is a member of the Society of Construction Law.
